Sentiment is determined by analyzing three categories for Supplier brands. These categories, include: quality, value and brand. Foodable Labs™ analyzes targeted conversations related to any of these three areas to determine a sentiment score. These metrics look at sentiment based on a very unique industry data set that works from Natural Language Processing (NLP) with a specific weight on foodservice.

The score is based on a weighted algorithm on 100 basis points, which eliminates size and volume as factors in the score.

Engagement analyzes only inbound interactions. In other words, how digital conversations react to content and digital activation items such as links, posts, video and images. The engagement score is weighted on types of activation, density of distribution, frequency of distribution, viral aspects, sharing and cross sharing. In addition, the scores are based on reach of the target audience that is engaging with the digital activation.

Digital Influence is based on a digital ecosystem presence and how the audience interacts with 23 social media platforms and within the ecosystems of search, mobile app, responsive web, and rating sites. Social Restaurant Visits (SRV’s) are scored on a 200-point metric system that analyzes geo-targeted conversations related to restaurant visits. These metrics look at sentiment, engagement, frequency, density, and brand advocates that involve key terms, digital action, geo-located post, image or digital tag related to a visit. The score is based on a weighted algorithm on 100 basis points, which eliminates size and volume as factors in the score.
